Kimball-Upson Co.

Kimball-Upson was a sporting goods store, but also advertised for auto supplies, radios, refrigerators, phonographs, motorcycles and other products over the years. They had been in business in Sacramento since at least 1891 up to at least WWII. The partners were Moses Nixon Kimball and Lauren Stuart Upson. The company name appeared in the newspapers quite often as they donated a trophy or loving cup for the champions of various events. The store was located at corner of K Street and 11th Street in downtown Sacramento.
