Description: Team started playing in 1947 under the management of Ralph Shaw, then Parks and Recreation Director in San Carlos, with players from Sequoia High School in Redwood City, many of whom grew up in San Carlos. The team played on and off through 1957, sometimes with its home field in San Carlos and Flood Park, other years was primarily a travelling team. Other managers included Dave Day in 1952, 1953, with Ralph Shaw returning to lead in 1954, and last two seasons under John Ward in 1956 and 1957.
