Fortuna vs. Scotia

Description: The Humboldt County baseball league included teams from Arcata, Blue Lake, Eureka, Ferndale, Fortuna, and Scotia. A 1910 article in the Humboldt Beacon reported that a Fortuna vs. Scotia game in Fortuna would be "called early so that the Scotia team can take the evening train from home" and so that "the game may be over before sun gets far enough in the west to hamper the fielders in their work."
