Denike's Tavern
Cyril Denike opened his tavern/cafe in mid-1930s at 400 3rd St. corner of Galvez Ave. (VAlencia 9564). He later relocated the establishment to Hudson Avenue, one block away where building is still standing. He served lunch and dinner and once a month would provide free lunch to customers.
