Description: Here's a remarkable picture of a play in last night's game that aided the C. and H. Sugar team of Crockett in winning the State semi-pro baseball championship. Leo Stanley is caught sliding into the plate, a quick throw from Crockett Pitcher Johnny Fernandez to Catcher Charlie Borreani turning the trick. Umpire Marty O'Toole declared the runner out, although the unfailing eye of the camera shows he is safe and that the ball had not been placed on him as his foot touched the rubber.
